Articles
There are many ways to find articles. The Health Sciences Library provides dozens of databases designed to help you find articles on a topic or by an author. Most of our databases are focused on a specific topic. Two good places to start for health sciences topics are:
- PubMed, from the National Library of Medicine, covers a huge range of medical, health care and biomedical sciences topics.
- PubMed's Single Citation Matcher is a great resource if you have a citation for a particular article and you wish to verify the citation or, find full text of that particular article.
- Citation Linker is another choice for finding individual articles, and it has much broader subject coverage than PubMed.
- Google Scholar covers a broad range of scholarly publications, but is not updated as regulary as PubMed. (See more about using Google Scholar)
